ASSESSMENT
Your Life Journey Assessment
The training video in the next lesson provides a walk-through of this process.

There are two parts to this process.

The first is to plot your overarching Life Journey Timeline and overlay several related aspects onto it in order to provide a life journey overview, influencers, and a sense of the "level of consciousness" you were experiencing at various stages of your Journey or Timeline.

The second is to hone in on the predominant "stories" that have been driving your life at each stage or juncture.
  1. Take the training for the first part and then complete the Timeline Worksheet as instructed.
  2. Take the training for the second part and then complete the Story Worksheet as instructed.

Write in your journal playbook throughout. It is available in the Lesson Resources. This journey provides some powerful insights that you can use for taking the next empowering steps in your healing and growth.

These exercises may raise some strong emotions as you are doing each exercise. This is healthy and normal. It is important to acknowledge them when they arise and breathe through them as described previously. Make a note of them in your Playbook journal pages and the situation or circumstances that triggered them into your awareness.
Later in the course there will be an opportunity to integrate these emotions in order to heal and release them from your experience.

The first part is to collect your data through a Timeline Assessment. The second part is to explore more deeply what have been the predominant stories at play. In both cases, when you bring what has been playing on autopilot into your conscious awareness, you become empowered to make the shifts in your energy, mindset, beliefs, decisions, choices, reactions, experiences. This is why this work is so powerful!

In this playbook, you will find "playbook" instructions and journal prompts for your contemplation and exploration. As you complete the exercises, you may experience strong emotions that come to the surface. When this occurs, it represents unprocessed feelings from your experiences.
Make a note of them in your journal, observe them and acknowledge them - it is normal and healthy, if a bit unpleasant - and breathe through them:

  • Write them down in your journal along with what triggered the response, to get them out of your system, and then take a deep breath, exhaling slowly.
  • Repeat the deep inhale and slow exhale several times and when you are calmer, continue in your exploration.

You will have opportunity to come back and re-integrate those spaces and places at the end of the process, and I encourage you to do so.
